Bulk Refill
Department Coordinator

We're on the hunt for a bulk self serve department superstar to join our wonderful Hobart store team! 

The role is full-time, and we're looking for candidates who aren’t studying and can work during the December holiday period (store is closed public holidays).

ABOUT EUMARRAH:
Eumarrah has provided organic and natural food in Tasmania since 1985. We pride ourselves on being local, ethical, and environmentally aware.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Regular work Monday-Saturday, 6-8 hours per day, 4/5 days per week.

  • Coordinating all aspects our bulk self serve department. This extends to all weighed stock items. We pride ourselves on our substantial range of bulk refill goods.

  • Customer service and care, including advice on product use and point of sale.

  • Physically demanding, will include regular and repeated lifting, up to 25kg (following safe lifting practices).

  • Extensive product knowledge and a strong willingness to learn.

  • Strict adherence to Eumarrah policies, safe work practices, and waste reduction.

  •  Contributing ideas to improve the store.

  •  Administration duties, including purchase orders, assisting Stock Control Manager, stock takes, emails and phone.

  • Closely working with other staff in a friendly and productive environment, autonomously and as part of a team.


ABOUT YOU:

  • Experienced in retail work and customer service.

  • Reliable, trustworthy, and honest.

  • Friendly, ethical, and respectable.

  • Excellent communication skills in person, and over the telephone and email.

  • A high level of attention to detail and observational skills.

  • Good time management, capable of handling competing priorities.

  • Eager to develop knowledge of products and their uses, origins, and purposes.

  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn.

  • Our ideal candidate has a passion and knowledge of wholefoods, organics and environmental awareness.

  • Extensive product knowledge and a strong willingness to learn.
