Thank you for choosing to buy from Eumarrah. Purchasing from us, either in a retail store, online or at our warehouse indicates that you accept the following Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions cover our online webstore.
As part of the checkout process we will ask for certain information, in particular your name, contact details, and address. You must make sure that your account details are up to date. Changes to your details (eg, new address, phone number, email, delivery details, etc) can be easily updated through our website or you can email us with the pertinent changes. Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility if the details you have provided us are incorrect or out of date.
Eumarrah considers all your information to be private. We do not have access to your password so keeping this safe is entirely your responsibility. We can not be liable for any unauthorised use of your username and password.
You may order products by selecting and submitting your order through this website in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any order placed is an offer by you to purchase the particular product for the price notified (including the delivery and other charges and taxes) at the time you place the order.
There are some products that are restricted (for example, alcohol may not be sold or supplied to people under the age of 18 years) in which case we may need to request further details from you.
Online Order Changes & Cancellations
Should you wish to change or cancel an order that has been placed with us online, please contact us immediately and we will do our very best to rectify or cancel the order if possible.
As we aim to process orders quickly, there is only a brief period during which you may change or cancel an order. If you wish to cancel an order before it has been picked there will be no fees or charges. If you wish to cancel an order after it has been picked, there may be fees for handling, delivery, and any irreversible bank charges.
Out Of Stock Items
We will do our best to make sure our website reflects the products that are currently in stock, but since stock levels are constantly changing and there may be unforeseen delays from suppliers, sometimes the product you request may not be available.
In this case we will contact you via email or phone to ask you if you would like a replacement product. We should also be able to advise you of the expected arrival date of the product you requested.
Order Quantity & Packaging
Many of our products are sold by weight. We will endeavour to supply the quantity that you order but there may be a variation, which is usually less than 10% more or less. In your invoice you will be charged for the amount that you actually receive, which may therefore be different from the amount you ordered.
Eumarrah has a strong belief in the importance of environmental sustainability. As many of our products are sold in bulk they will be packaged in unbleached eco paper bags, calico bags, glass jars, and, with your express approval, recycled containers.
By ordering on this site you agree to have us pack the goods the best way we see fit. We are always striving to reduce our waste and footprint as well as continually improving the way we do things.
Eumarrah aims to provide the best products at the best prices. Prices change regularly and usually without notice. This will be reflected on our website and in the stores. All of our prices are in Australian Dollars and prices are inclusive of GST.
Unlike many other sites, the prices on the website are the same as in the stores and warehouse, except when there is a local special.
Please note that when purchasing any bulk retail product from our online store that there will be an additional price for the container that we need to use to package it. If you authorise us, for liquids we will use recycled jars or bottles that we have cleaned and sterilised.
There will be no rainchecks for stock advertised on special either instore or online.
Actual payment will occur when your order has been picked and invoiced. If you have ordered any items sold by weight, the total value charged may vary from the amount shown when you placed the order as the amount picked may be slightly different from your order. Additionally for bulk products there will be a charge for the containers used (unless you have given us permission to use recycled reused jars). The total amount may also be less than expected if for any reason a product could not be supplied.
We accept online payment via Visa or MasterCard, or Eumarrah vouchers bought online or instore. Note that we do not accept any other cards. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and cash can only be used for in store purchases.
Please ensure that an accurate delivery address is provided, we can not take any responsibility for damage or loss of your order due providing the incorrect address.
As we use third party couriers please understand that some issues regarding delivery are out of our control. We cannot confirm exactly when your goods will arrive but we strive to ensure our deliveries are dispatched promptly and will work with you and the courier company where necessary to locate your goods if there is an issue.
All our products are best kept in a cool, dry, dark place. However some products like chocolate, LSA, and fresh produce (amongst others) are sensitive to weather. While we take care selecting our couriers we cannot guarantee how your goods will be handled throughout the freight process. We do not advise leaving your order outdoors for prolonged periods of time. If your order is not unpacked and stored correctly within a few hours it may be subject to deterioration. Further, if you are not home to receive your order we are unable to take any responsibility for theft or spoilage.
Any order for which we have not been given delivery instructions specific to that order, will be left at the front door or in the safest place if no one is home to receive it or if no one answers the door. We are unable to take any responsibility for loss or damage of your goods after it has been delivered to your nominated address.
When receiving an order from Eumarrah, anyone at the delivery address who receives the order will be presumed by us to be authorised to receive the goods.
Please make a note in the delivery instructions/comments section if you would like to physically sign for your package and we will ensure the driver will not leave your order until it has been signed for. Please note that if you request this service and no one is home to sign for the order, we are unable to take responsibility for any items that have perished as a result of being returned to the courier depot.
Eumarrah can not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage occurring by reason of delay or inability to deliver caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
Missing Or Damaged Items
We strive to ensure all our customers are 100% satisfied with our products and service so please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your order if anything is wrong in any way.
Please ensure to check your order against the invoice as soon as your order arrives. If an item is missing or damaged and you have been invoiced for it please notify us within 24 hours and we will take steps to verify the missing or damaged items. Once we are reasonably satisfied that the item was not delivered, then we will credited your account for your next purchase or issue a refund as you choose. Note that the credit or refund must be initiated within 24 hours of delivery.
Returns & Refund Policy
Eumarrah stands by all our products above and beyond the standard guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
We will happily replace (or refund at our discretion) any product that is not of acceptable quality, however bear in mind that as all our products are natural one can expect variations of colour, size, shape and sometimes taste or smell.
If you think that the goods you have received are not satisfactory then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number and including as many details as possible about the order and the problem with the goods.
You can return any item you have purchased from us, within 14 days of receipt date provided that it is in the exact same condition as when it left our premises, and has not been opened or damaged in any way.
However we are unable to accept returns of any bulk food that is not originally sealed in its packaging, as we will not have been able to control the manner in which the food was stored once it left our premises, nor whether it might have had contact with other foods or items.
Product & Medical Disclaimer
Not all of the products reflected on this website are available in all of our stores and vice versa. If you are after a particular product and wish to buy it from your nearest Eumarrah store please contact them to find out if the product you are after is in stock.
We will do our level best to ensure that the information on the website is correct and up to date however we cannot take responsibility for any inaccuracy or inadvertent misrepresentation of products on the website. As always it is best to double-check information from different sources and make sure you are purchasing the products that you actually want.
We will try to have pictures of our products as they currently are on the website, however sometimes products may look different (for example figs always look drier later in the year, turmeric powder will have a different colour depending on the supplier).
We are not doctors or natural health professionals so you won’t find medical advice on our website. Bear in mind that any information you may find on the internet, including our website, can not replace a one-on-one relationship with a health care professional therefore you should always ensure you speak to your healthcare professional before making medical related decisions or making changes to your diet.
With respect to products sold on the site, in no event can Eumarrah, its directors, officers, employees or representatives be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or any other damages related to the products sold
Although we take great care to separate and pack all products carefully, all our bulk food and some grocery items we sell will have been packed in a facility that contains allergens, traces of allergens including the following: peanuts, nuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, seeds, soybeans and soy products, egg, pollen and bee products, preservatives, gluten and cereals containing gluten, wheat, rye, barley oats, spelt, dairy and other products that may behave as allergens to certain people.
Where possible, we have tried to ascertain with our suppliers that proper segregation, hygiene and cleaning procedures are in place to prevent accidental cross-contamination, but ultimately these things are beyond our control.
No allergen or nutritional information on our website should ever be considered a guarantee, but simply a best faith effort to serve our customers.
Changes To Terms & Conditions
We may change our terms and conditions at any time and these will come into effect immediately. They are posted onto this website so we recommend you check them regularly to stay informed. By purchasing from us you agree to be bound by these changes in terms and conditions as and when they occur.
