AN ESSENTIAL BAKING INGREDIENT
Cream of Tartar is an acidic by-product of fermenting grapes into wine.
HOW TO USE
> Helps stabilise and give more volume to beaten egg whites (or cream) - 1/8 tsp per egg white.
> An essential ingredient when making pavlova or meringues.
> Baking Powder substitute - use 1/4 tsp Baking Soda, 1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar (=1 tsp Baking Powder)
Product should last up to 12 months if stored airtight in a cool dark area.
