We stock a variety of products including bulk foods, organic fresh produce, natural groceries, toiletries, fresh foods and take-away deli options. For over 30 years, we've welcomed families, students, visitors and more to our stores. So pop in and find all the natural wholefoods and friendly advice you could need!
It's important to us that our food is being grown in an ethical manner without chemicals, and that the producers are getting a fair deal. Fresh, local, fairly traded and organic food benefits not only the environment and the producers, but also our health and well-being.
Most of our fresh produce is certified organic or biodynamic.
We try to support local growers and producers as much as we can, which reduces food miles and provides the freshest, highest quality seasonal produce. Much of our fresh produce comes from the Huon Valley and other parts of Tasmania. We know the people who grow our food, how they grow the food, and have a connection with them.
Our bulk self-serve bins offer an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to packaged foods. Bring your own containers to refill with flours, grains, cereals, pasta, nuts and seeds, dried fruit, tofu, legumes, pulses, baking supplies, oils and liquids, peanut butter (try our peanut butter machine), honey, herbs, spices, tea, chocolate, snacks, toiletries, cleaning products and more. It's easy - just weigh your container on our scales and write the weight, refill with your favourite product, and pay at the counter!
We have a huge range of natural and organic grocery products. These include many local Tasmanian brands such as Ashbolt, Spreyton, Lucaston Park, Longley Organic Farm, Miellerie, Wellington Apiary, Amber Harvest, Mrs Rees, Wild Pepper Isle, Rocky Gardens, Tas Taste, Kindred Organics, Hazelbrae, Honk Mustard, DR Garlic, Penna Organics, Strive Food. Our shops have tinned food, packages and packaging free options of many delicious foods and cooking ingredients. Our staff are knowledgeable so please ask if you need any help at all. We're always open to product suggestions - let us know if you have a favourite product you would like to see on our shelves!
We get locally made fresh bread delivered daily. Choose from a large range of different types - your favourite sourdough loaf, a packaged pre-sliced loaf or perhaps a gluten free alternative. Many of our loaves are certified organic.
We have a range of local fresh eggs available, as well as certified organic and biodynamic options, We only support suppliers with cage-free free range happy hens.
Our deli offers a delicious range of takeaway options. Both stores have tempting healthy slices and sweet treats - many raw and refined sugar free, Our Hobart deli also offers Summer Kitchen Pies (not heated), healthy salads, savoury slices and hot soup (in winter only), All are made with natural ingredients, organic where ever possible. We ensure that there are choices for special diets so we include gluten free, refined-sugar free, vegan and raw options.
Our chilled and freezer section is filled with your daily staples plus some exciting and nutritious dairy-free and vegan alternatives. You’ll find milks, cheeses, butter, tofu and tempeh, plant-based meat alternatives, organic meat, yoghurts, ice-cream, frozen berries and fruit, frozen vegetables, dips, sauerkraut and kimchi, kefir, kombucha, juices, canned and bottled drinks. We include many organic, dairy free, raw, fermented and local products. You’ll find a wonderful array of vegan foods at Eumarrah. We pride ourselves in supporting vegan diets. We have a number of vegan staff members and they have been able to offer us many delicious suggestions for vegan foods -including vegan chocolates and sweets, vegan biscuits and crackers, vegan cheeses and spreads, vegan milks and butters, plant-based meat alternatives, vegan ice-cream, and many more delicious products.
We make sure to offer options for many different diets. So if you are gluten intolerant, vegan, wheat free, dairy free or coeliac we can help support you in many ways.
You’ll find all your favourite raw products and superfoods here at Eumarrah. From goji berries, acai, raw cacao, hemp seeds, protein powders, omega oils, bee pollen and baru nuts. All the ingredients you need for adding to smoothies and juices and for giving your body a superfood boost!
We have a wide range of natural products for skin, hair, beauty and body. We stock cruelty free, organic, paraben and sulphate free products. Ranges include Lavera, Dr Bronner's, Australian Natural Soap Co, Sanctum, Hot Tresses, Who Gives a Crap, Juju, Organicup, Hannah Pad, Dr Organic, Grants, Melrose and many more. We also stock the wonderful local Tasmanian brands such as MyShay, Hope Suds, Body of Nature, Olive & Ash and Oviearth.
We have locally made beers and ciders, sulphite free, preservative free, vegan & organic wines. If fizz is your thing we even have bubbles! You’ll find a perfect accompaniment to any meal. Our local Tasmanian brews come from Bruny Island Beer Co, Seven Sheds, Two Metre Tall Brewery, Simple Cider, Willie Smith, Tasmanian Tonic Company, and local wines from Stefano Lubiana and Parallax Vineyard.

We have a fantastic range of eco-friendly, sustainable, zero waste and plastic free products to help you to transition to a more waste free life. From beeswax wraps, reusable food storage solutions, metal straws, reusable cups, coconut bowls, wooden toothbrushes, tote and shopping bags, glass jars and amber spray bottles (great for making your own natural cleaning products), and books about zero waste/natural living. We also have everything you need to start making your own nut milk, yoghurt and sourdough, plus kefir and kombucha cultures so you can get brewing at home!
