THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Hobart Store - 14/02/24

Several staff are heading to further education this year so we need help to fill the following roles:

> Online sales: communicating with customers, picking and processing orders, arranging delivery
> Point of sale: processing sales in a friendly and warm yet efficient manner, going the extra mile helping customers
> Stock control and customer care: checking and restocking bulk and grocery lines, stock display and facing, stocktakes, stock handling, customer assistance

ABOUT THE JOBS:

  • 20-30 hours per week in our busy organic and natural food store.
  • All roles include all aspects of life in a busy retail food store: customer service and care, product use queries and suggestions, stock control and refilling, point of sale, store presentation and cleanliness, and more.
  • These varied roles make it a great job: mental and physical activity along with social interaction.
  • Team participation in the nicest way, working with other staff, retail customers and our sister locations, ensuring that all our customers get the products they need efficiently and courteously.
  • Strict adherence to Eumarrah policies, safe work practices, and waste reduction.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Our ideal candidate has a friendly, helpful personality, with a passion and knowledge of wholefoods, organics and environmental awareness.
  • Good understanding of handling food, including hygienic and careful handling of product.
  • Experienced in providing great customer service, with excellent communication skills in person, over the telephone and by email.
  • Attention to presentation and detail (like product identification and quality) are essential.
  • Good time management, capable of handling competing priorities.
  • You must be physically fit and safety aware (can safely lift up to 25kg).
  • Great team player, able to motivate and keep on task, look out for others, share tasks, be efficient, accurate and organised.
  • Reliable, friendly, trustworthy, ethical, respectful and respectable.
  • Looking for 12+ months of consistent employment, preferably much longer.
