TINY, SWEET & TANGY
Currants are dried small seedless black grapes, made from a smaller grape variety (Black Corinth) than raisins and sultanas. Due to their small size, they have a sweet, tangy and intense flavour. Great to have in the pantry, ready for a quick snack. Can be used for sweet or savoury dishes.
HOW TO USE
> Great for snacking as they are or add to trail mix and lunch boxes. They go well with cheese and nuts.
> Delicious added to muesli and porridge, baking, bread, puddings, rice dishes, stuffing, couscous, curries and salads.
> Use in chutneys and pickles.
