Wheat grain that is harvested while green, then roasted. Whole freekeh takes a little longer to cook than cracked freekeh.
HOW TO USE
> Serve like rice or great in soups, salads, in veg patties/stuffing or as porridge. Can grind into flour.
> Cook: Rinse, place in cold water (1:5) and bring to boil. Simmer for 40-50min till tender.
Product should last up to 24 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
