TASTE LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN A CURRANT AND A RAISIN
Flame Raisins are considered one of the sweetest raisins, as they ripen earlier than other red grapes. They have a tangy-sweet burst of flavour that is like a cross between a currant and a raisin. They're ideal for both savoury or sweet dishes, or make a great snack on their own.
HOW TO USE
> Great for snacking as they are or add to trail mix and lunch boxes. They go well with cheese and nuts.
> Use in recipes in place of currants or other raisin varieties for a delicious tangy-sweet flavour.
> Add to muesli and porridge, baking, fruit bread, puddings, rice dishes, couscous, curries and salads.
> Very nice in sandwiches or wraps, fruit compote, chutneys and pickles.
> Delicious in apple tarts and pies!
