ALSO KNOWN AS BUTTER BEANS
A mild buttery flavour and soft texture. They are delicious in savoury recipes with Mediterranean, Indian or South American flavours, and great in vegetarian dishes.
HOW TO USE
> Use in salads, veggie burgers, soups (ideal in Minestrone), baked potatoes, lasagne, moussaka, hot pots, curries and spiced dishes.
> Great mashed as a side dish or as a dip.
> Soak: Soaking is optional, but you can soak for 4-8 hours.
> Cook: Bring to boil and fast boil for 2 min, then simmer 30-40min or until tender. 1 cup beans to 2 cups water.
Product should last up to 18 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area. Older beans take longer to cook.
