A HEARTY TASTY GRAIN
Pearled barley is barely grain with the hard outer hull polished off, while keeping nutrients. A light nutty flavour and nice chewy texture. Can be sprouted and used fresh in salads and wraps.
HOW TO USE
> Great in soups, stews, hot pots, bakes, salads and as a risotto. Also good served with curries and stir-fries.
> Can be cooked as a breakfast porridge.
> Cook: Bring to the boil and simmer for around 45min or until tender. 1 cup barley to 3 cups water.
Product should last up to 12 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
