Part of the kidney bean family, Pinto Beans have a nutty savoury flavour thats ideal with strongly-spiced dishes. Have a soft texture and are easy to mash.
HOW TO USE
> Use in salads, soups, slow cooked dishes, dips or salsa, wraps, refried beans and spicy dishes.
> Soak: Rinse and soak overnight.
> Cook: Bring to boil and simmer for about 2 hours or until tender. 1 cup beans to 3 cups water.
Product should last up to 18 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area. Older beans take longer to cook.
