SWEET AUSTRALIAN PRUNES
Prunes are dried plums, with a deliciously rich sweet flavour and sticky texture. Can be used in sweet or savoury dishes. Very nutritious, high in iron and often used for their laxative effect.
HOW TO USE
> Great for snacking as they are or add to trail mix and lunch boxes.
> Can be lightly stewed and served warm for breakfast or dessert. Great with yoghurt or ice-cream too!
> Chop and add to muesli and porridge, baking and desserts.
> They are great in stuffing and sauces. Classically used to make Devils On Horseback (prunes wrapped in bacon).
Product should last up to 12 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
