FAST COOKING OATS
These Australian sustainably grown quick oats are certified organic. Quick oats are made from oat grains that have been lightly steamed, sliced and rolled very thinly. This makes them fast and convenient, as they only require a short time cooking. They are full flavoured and have a soft, creamy texture when cooked.
HOW TO USE
> Use to make a fast and convenient warming porridge! Bring 1 cup of oats to a gentle boil in 2 cups of liquid (water or milk of your choice). Cook for 2-3min until creamy, and serve with chopped nuts and fruit. Can also be added to muesli mixes.
> Great added to smoothies for extra nutrition and fibre.
> Add to baking, muffins, biscuits, muesli bars, energy balls, homemade bread and burger patties. Combined with coconut and cinnamon, they also make a yummy fruit crumble topping!
> Use to make fresh oat mylk. Soak in cold water (ratio 1:6) overnight with a pinch of salt, blend and strain through a clean cloth.
Product should last up to 12 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
