A DELICIOUS COLOURFUL MIX
Quinoa is technically a seed, not a grain! Its native to South America and was prized by the Incans, being cultivated for thousands of years. In this mix the darker colour and earthy flavour of the black and red quinoa is balanced with the softer texture and flavour of the white quinoa. It creates a great colour and texture. Quick cooking and a complete source of protein.
HOW TO USE
> Use in place of rice or couscous - hot or cold. Perfect with curries, stir-fries, as a side dish or in salads.
> Great as a nutritious porridge with fresh fruit, nuts and yoghurt.
> Cook: Rinse, place in pot of cold water (ratio 1:2), cover and bring to the boil then simmer with lid ajar for around 15-20min. Cook till tender and tails pop out. Turn off, let sit for 5min. Use a fork to fluff up before serving.
Product should last up to 24 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
