PERFECT IN VEGETARIAN RECIPES
Red Kidney Beans have a mild nutty flavour and firm texture. Ideal in Mexican or Indian style dishes with hotter spices. Full of fibre, vitamins, and have a low glycemic index (GI).
HOW TO USE
> Tasty in nachos, burritos and enchiladas, or in baked potatoes and veggie burgers.
> Also great in curries, soups, hot pots, chilli, salads and dips.
> Soak: Rinse and soak for at least 5 hours.
> Cook: Bring to boil and simmer for about 60-90 min or until tender. 1 cup beans to 2 cups water.
WARNING: TOXIC IF EATEN RAW - DO NOT SPROUT.
Product should last up to 18 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area. Older beans take longer to cook.
