ORGANIC STEAMED ROLLED OATS FROM BLUE LAKE MILLING
These organically grown Australian rolled oats (also known as old fashioned oats), are made from hulled oat grains that have been lightly steamed and then rolled in a press. Steaming helps to stop the enzymes breaking down the natural fats and reduces rancidity. They take longer to cook than quick oats, and have more texture. Used raw or toasted, theyre a handy pantry staple.
HOW TO USE
> Use to make a traditional nourishing porridge. Also ideal added to muesli mixes, or used to make a delicious Bircher Muesli or overnight oats.
> Great added to smoothies for extra fibre.
> Use in baking, muffins, biscuits (the classic Anzac!), muesli bars, energy balls and homemade bread. Great mixed with warming spices as fruit crumble topping!
> Add to veggie burgers and loaves in combination with legumes and nuts.
> Use to make fresh oat mylk!
Product should last up to 12 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
