SWEET & NUTTY FLAVOUR
Rolled spelt is a wholegrain that tastes slightly nuttier and sweeter than wheat, and is more digestible. Spelt is an ancient grain that is a subspecies of wheat. Its high in fibre, iron and protein. The spelt grain is rolled and then dried.
HOW TO USE
> Great used to make porridge or granola. Also works well in a savoury pilaf or added to creamy soups and stews.
> Adds a nutty flavour to baking and retains more moisture than other grains. Great used in muffins and breads.
Product should last up to 6 months if stored in an airtight container in a cool dark area.
