GROUND BARK OF THE SLIPPERY ELM TREE
Slippery Elm has traditionally been used medicinally, and is also a source of dietary fibre. It is a soothing diuretic demulcent, and is used for stomach issues, heart burn, constipation, sore throats, inflammation, coughs and skin conditions.
HOW TO USE
> Stir 1-2 tsp slippery elm into a glass of water, juice or smoothie. It wont dissolve but form a gel. Can also be added to porridge or muesli.
WARNING: May cause nausea, skin irritation and allergic reactions. May interfere with medication - check with your doctor. Avoid if pregnant.
Product should last up to 12 months if stored airtight in a cool dark area.
