Shakespeare Hills eggs, are the first certified organic free-range eggs in Tasmania!

Shakespeare Hills grew out of Pip and husband Matthew's need to feed their 5 growing children. The long-time dairy farmers dwelling on rich farmland abutting the Tarkine bought a few hens. A few became many, spilling into an iconic and much loved roadside stall which the kids and Pip would decorate for special holidays.

The Shakespeare Hills lay between parts of their farm, forming a beautiful backdrop as the kids and Pip lovingly clean eggs, one by one, by hand and move their mobile coup around their farm following their dairy herds and rotating the chickens across fresh pasture as they care for the land, and their animals.
