A NUTRITIOUS STAPLE OF MIDDLE EASTERN CUISINES
Unhulled tahini is a pure paste made by milling unhulled sesame seeds. Its more nutritious than hulled tahini as the skin is kept intact during the milling process. It has a creamy texture, rich colour and a lovely robust nutty flavour - a bit more tang than hulled tahini. Its extremely versatile and can be used in a range of sweet and savoury recipes, or simply eaten as is! High in protein, calcium and other minerals.
HOW TO USE
> Great on its own drizzled over pita breads, souvlaki, wraps, falafel or vegetables. Can also be used as a spread in place of butter, or added to dips like hummus.
> Use to make tasty tangy salad dressings and sauces. Also amazing in desserts, energy balls, slices, biscuits and cakes.
> Works well in halva or homemade chocolate.
